Nine Arch Bridge, located between Ella and Demodara in Sri Lanka’s Uva Province, is one of the country’s best-known hill-country landmarks. Completed in 1921, the railway viaduct stretches approximately 91 metres and rises about 24 metres above the valley. Its nine sweeping arches, active railway line and lush surroundings make it one of the most photographed places around Ella.
